Great area, just encountered a couple of inconveniences during my stay

Love the view from my balcony. The area is very safe and convenient. The hotel is family friendly. Manu activities for the kids to do.

This was my wife and I second time at this resort. Things did change since the last time. One thing we notice that was different, is that the resort was predominantly for locals. I will say any Americans that are not Spanish speaking shouldn’t not stay here.
Food was not the greatest. Meats were either overcooked or over seasoned. The specialty restaurants had rules that only applied to Americans.(no swimsuits or wet clothes)
When we arrived to our room the balcony door was off track and the dresser drawers would shut properly. They did fix the issues but it took 2 hours after traveling all day.
The main issue that we had, is that the entire resort either lost water completely or no hot water for several hours. All we were told were it will be back on soon. Then nobody told us when it was back on.
I will not recommend anyone to stay at this resort for the time being until they fix a lot of their problems there.

The resort and service team itself was great! Everyone was kind, attentive, and friendly. You don't walk past one person who doesn't ask how you're doing, and how they can help you. The only issue is that there is absolutely no wifi in the rooms, and it's only available in the lobby, even then, the connection is poor. I left the resort and have Mexico included in my plan so I was covered, but when my partner needed to contact me, he tried to connect to WiFi to make the call and it was not great..
The tvs also could use an update, channels lag or go fuzzy sometimes but if youre planning to be outside a lot and exploring the beautiful city, then TV and wifi in the room don't matter too much :)
Food was AMAZINGLY good. I looked forward to every meal. (Anything with beef is always delish!)
I definitely wouldn't mind staying there again :)

It was nice that it was all inclusive. But considering this is suppose to be a tourist area. We had a hard time finding some who spoke english when we needed help. There wasnt a bar designated for adults. Which meant there were children at all of the bar areas. All day long. There was a small time frame to make reservations for the specialty dinning. From 7a to 9a. We felt unwelcome by the staff.

We spent 3 nights at Vamar and we certainty enjoyed both, the Marina and the beach, areas are clean very well kept.

Great value for the money, Carlos at the pool was great, as well as Delicia at the breakfast buffet, Marina and Cristina by the front desk, nice people, nice place, we definitely want to go back to Vamar.

The best thing of the stay was the food. It was excellent. Just great.

We didn’t have a good experience with some of the staff of Vamar Resort, they just didn’t make us feel welcome.
Also, there is no WIFI or refrigerator in the rooms.
