We got into our room and the AC was not working. The AC was dripping water into the hallway, they had a towel on the floor. They offered us a room the next day which was across the construction site. They said it was the only room they can offer but “don’t worry they stop working at 2 on the weekends “ we stayed Thurs to Fri. The alcohol was being poured from recycled plastic jugs. The restaurants did not allow men to enter in tank tops, were on the beach ! The pool was closed early the first day due to a child pooped in the pool. Unfortunately this was not a good first impression. I will not be staying there again.

The property is very run down and in need of major renovations. The food was fair at best.

Too many weddings with loud techno music all night, every night. Jack hammers during the day. Not enough bar tenders. Sodas all flat. Food was the same and too much pork on the menu. Toilet leaking at base and they “fixed” it with thick caulk. Electric plug in bathroom falling out of wall, not functioning; they did not repair after we asked them to. Bad location near where river flows into beach, so red flags up all 4 days and could not swim in beach. Special restaurants not open every night. No air conditioning in specialty restaurants and they have dress code which made it for a hot miserable dinner. Could not take food poolside. Concierge kept bothering us about excursions. Horrible experience overall!

Property is oudated. Leaks on the ceiling. Elevator is dirty. Washroom is cramped. Bedding is not well dried. Room odor is terrible. Not recommended.
