The staff, in all departments, were absolutely excellent. Friendly and helpful. Room was recently renovated and very clean. Great location in the heart of old Puerto Vallarta. Genuine Mexico. Great beach right in front of hotel with great beverage service. Vendors on beach very respectful. If you said “no gracious” they smiled and moved along. Would highly recommend this property. This was fine for one night but I’m very glad it wasn’t more than that. The lobby and outdoor area and pool are beautiful. The room I stayed in was not. It was VERY outdated and bare bones. The bed was comfortable at least but there was loud music until late at night and there were many, many thumps and bumps in the night which kept both me and my friend up. The beach area is all right. It is a very busy beach with many vendors approaching you ALL the time. The water at this beach is not clear at all and is very silty. The hotel is in a central location which is nice for eating out, but again, it’s a very busy area. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.
