Beautiful location, great staff. Limited food options for vegetarians, which can be very easily improved. Hire a menu consultant for Indian tourists. I loved the pasta counter. So don’t get enticed by it when you are booking. The shows and live music is awesome! The only thing I was disappointed about was ‘resort credit’. They gave $150 coupons and at the checkout after 6th day, I returned all of them. It doesn’t work in most likely use cases. This is the only reason I am holding back on 5 star rating.

Location is amazing! For the price of this resort, if you wanted to you can go and enjoy the food on the marina. Close to the Walmart, marina, coffee shops. Art walk is on Thursdays but it is very busy! Your 5 minutes away from the airport which we found was a huge benefit.
Food was okay. They have a cook making fresh food every evening if you don’t want anything from the buffet. The Fish House has amazing food! Mole and tacos is okay. Breakfast at Mole and Tacos is nice. For how busy the pool was, it was never dirty! The snack bar at the pool was good sometimes they had tacos. The service is phenomenal at this resort! The lobby bar is amazing, not one bartender struck out to me being better, they are all great!
I recommend getting the Meliá app and using the amenities request link for different pillows and a duvet. The beds are not super comfortable. The rooms are clean and pretty standard. This resort is dated for sure but everything else made up for it. I would like to note that I would never stay at this resort without the premium bracelet because premium gives you a lot of perks and is totally worth the extra money. It is a family friendly resort but I never noticed it to be overflowing with kids. There is so much for families to do at the resort no one would be bored. There is live entertainment in the evenings which we never watched. The are pool tables, ping pong, kayaking, mini golf, games, volley balls to borrow, and much more!

Everything was well. But recommendations for vegetarian people to add more items for vegetarians as some people do not eat chicken, beef or pork.

Property was small. Mini golfing should be updated. Entertainment should be updated. Cracks in the floor in ocean view room. on the 7th floor. Juan at the buffet is amazing service. Pool and ocean are clean and accessible. Service overall was great.

We loved our stay here in Melia. Food is amazing, staff are nice and close to shopping malls.
