It’s a dated property but worked for us as all we wanted to do was lay by a pool and do nothing. Our room was good with the AC but the unit was very noisy. They didn’t tell us the WiFi password when we checked in so we had to ask someone else for it. They also didn’t tell us the you have the make reservations at the restaurants at 9:01 am every morning for that night. They only have limited spaces for reservations or you are at the buffet. The buffet is very good and during breakfast they can make you omelets of your choice. All I all it was not a bad stay at all for what we wanted to do. You also have to get down the pool before it opens to grab a chair as the cabanas get taken very quickly. Also you have to exchange a card for a towel and that’s your towel for the day. To get the card back you have to take the towel back and get your card for the next day.

A/c didnt work the best. And there was never any hot water at all for a week. Other than that great place!

I loved that it was adult only. The staff was excellent and the area around was safe and convenient. The food was subpar but still good.

After multiple requests for a telephone in my room I was met with a quiet non response! Speaking to other guests I came to realize that no one had a working phone in their room and none was ever brought to mine. I was concerned for my safety as the marble tub/ shower had no anti slip mat of any kind and I have diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs. Many other guests had similar concerns. No one in management responded to my request for help in these matters. The staff and grounds of the property are beautiful but the hotel has consistently neglected the rooms repairs and concerns of their guests. I will not be returning to this hotel until safety issues are properly addressed.

We stayed for 11 days. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Buffet was great, lots of fresh food and authentic Mexican dishes - not for everyone, but we loved it! Rooftop pool was our favorite hangout, quieter than downstairs pool. Beach was swimmable, but lots of vendors, non-stop asking for your attention, but they were nice too.
We got the room we payed for, AC worked the whole time, WiFi works great, too.
Only complaint is I bought jewelry from the guy who comes three times a week to the lobby, and it was fake, not real silver, so I lost $45USD there…
Will definitely come back!
