Be ready to check your 1st world priorities

Great hidden facility away from all the population so it was perfect. There is no phone signal and the staff here seemed less than willing to share the WiFi. It also didn’t work and when I asked why she replied “it’s because you have an iPhone. An iPhone can’t connect to the WiFi” which made no sense. The water didn’t work on the first night and They also DO NOT have an airport shuttle like they said they do. I had to take a city bus (₽150) to get there, walk 500m to where a small motorcycle would meet me, AND then pay him ₽50 to get to the hotel. Taxis are hustlers here so be careful, they all are in some ring to rip tourists off.

Wifi was only available in one area and would cut out very easily. Very nice staff, a bit secluded but very chill atmosphere. Our door hinge was busted upon entering but it had a temporary fix that was ok.

Dreadful. Steer clear.

Fantastis location. Could be something really great, but misses the mark in so so many ways. Don't be fooled by the bar photo on the river. It is not operable, falling apart and certainly not stocked. Our first day there we had 8 or 10 locals drinking on the floor of it for 2 hours. The second day we had 17 teenagers on the shorefront of 6 hours. During this time we could not access the river and were smoked out when they decided to build a barbecue fire. We were forced to retreat to our room. The owner thinks he is doing the right thing by being talkative to his guests. He is totally invasive on peoples privacy. I felt very sorry for a couple on their honeymoon and they couldn't get rid of him. They warned us as soon as we arrived. He follows you to your dining table and wants to talk to you while dining. Furthermore he smokes in the dining are!!! He also puts his staff down infant of guests. Not terribly smart! Clearly had no experience in hospitality. Just thought he would build a resort on the river and all would work out great!! Such a shame because the location is fabulous.

Could have been a decenstay but too many strikes..

Could have been a good stay but their lack of communication, planning and transportation consumed precious vacation time. It's impossible to have anybody answer the phone at the resort. They don't provide any reliable transportation from the isolated resort to the main road (had to wait ~1hr) and they weren't much help in booking tickets for attractions. The resort itself has a lot of character (i.e. camping style), tucked away deeply in the woods along a river. The wait staff and front desk staff were nice.

Location very far

Although we like peace & quiet but didn't expect it to be in the woods & no choice of food more appropriate for backpackers or hikers.

Clean and comfy

Posted 4 Jan 2017 on Hotels
A nicely run hotel away from typical attractions. Clean and comfortable rooms. Ours happened to have a super cool bathroom with small light colored stones covering the floor with large dark tile stepping stones right where you needed them. Loved it!! It got hot during the evenings (we were there in December) and the heat laid on us like a heavy blanket. I believe all rooms have a fan, but it didn't really help move the air around. We survived with hand fans (randomly purchased at the beginning of our trip) and that helped us get through the hottest times of the evenings. Leaving the windows open at night helps bring in the cooler evening air and the windows are all covered with bug screens to keep you from being eaten alive. Brilliant! An unusual twist to the natural surroundings are two multi colored strobe lights that get turned on each night as it gets dark. Regardless of a party. As is the music... I suspect a request to turn down/off the music would be honored. Every single staff member was truly very cheerful and lovely. Personally, the lights and music distracted from the natural environment, but not enough to complain. The menu is varied and decent. Due to location, finding another restaurant without a taxi seemed unlikely...though I'm not 100% sure. Food service is slow (common in Palawan) so don't wait until you are ravenous! There are a few chartered excursions for purchase available from the hotel. We enjoyed three hot lazy days here.

Stor varning för detta hotell. Två timmar från flygplatsen puerto Princess. Ingen fungerande toalett, dusch eller kran. Helt förfallet utan några aktiviteter.
