This posting is for a 2 bedroom apartment. We did not receive a 2 bedroom apartment. I received a call before arriving to the hotel stating that 2 be sunrise suite was not available for these dates due to an “impasse” the hotel is experiencing. The hotel asked me to cancel the vacation, but instead I asked for a downgrade and that is what I received. I was given a one bedroom presidential suites. Upon arrived to the hotel I asked about the availability of the sunrise suites. It turns out the sunrise suites were available, but it was for “members only”. Therefore I was downgraded to give priority to members. The sunrise suites was available, however they prioritized filling the rooms with members. Even though we already had a reservation I was moved from the room we reserved. Additionally, I was told the area that we were staying was for members and members of guests only. We were given a blue bracelet. We did not get any vip or gold bracelet amenities which should have been given to us as a guest of the member. The nightclub was closed due to “covid” but there were member only parties that occurred every night which we were not allowed to attend. I have been to this hotel before and it was understandable as there were other parties I could go to with my bracket. However, during this stay I don’t think it was right for there to be a members only party when there are no other night life choices available.
The hotel also tried to charge us $30 upon arrival for being early.
