I was placed in Building 31, which was still under construction. The noise was extremely loud, both in the morning and evening, making it impossible to sleep. I felt uncomfortable throughout my stay and raised my concerns with the front desk, but nothing was done. Additionally, on rainy days, there were no umbrellas available, and I had to walk in the rain every day.
Given these issues, I would like to request compensation for my experience.

This is a wonderful spot for a vacation! The staff truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and at home. With easy access to the beach, delicious food, and spotless rooms, it’s hard not to enjoy your stay. The restaurants are fantastic too, adding to the overall positive experience!

We upgraded and wanted ocean view at the Ventus property. We’re told not available. Stayed at the Ha. First arrival a/c didn’t work. Said they fixed. Didn’t. Hot first night. Moved rooms. A/C didn’t work. Fixed the second day. Didn’t. Froze. It stuck on. Aromatherapy wasn’t done early enough so we missed out a night. Special pillow wasn’t available. View was of construction workers building the unit across from us. Heard banging. Asked to be moved to ocean view. Didn’t need butler but wasn’t offered this option. Paid for it. Was reimbursed 1/2 of our upgrades but still didn’t need the vip. Moved to ocean view 4th day (downgrade) according to their pricing but wasn’t compensated the downgraded price. Was offered 2 30 minute massages then was going to take it away for giving us the view we wanted. I refused that. She said we could keep it. They were very reluctant to have us off the Ha property for some reason. Much happier at the Ventus side beach side. Still didn’t NEED the butler vip service. It was nice but we don’t drink top shelf. We didn’t use the complimentary snacks at the platinum rooms etc. once we were told our desired room wasn’t available we looked in their website and they were always available so we were betrayed and deceived. I would not stay again from our experience but others said they loved it. We are not high maintenance people. Just wanted a view and to relax. Not keep moving around from room to room. I am waiting on a better reimbursement from Expedia

Place was overcrowded. Staff was unhelpful, specifically the managers.Food below average and not fresh at times . Drinks watered . WiFi is extra 60$ No dining was available to book 4 days prior.

Love how you can use all 3 properties and the Ruf top bar and new pools are amazing!

The three properties were well maintained and clean. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed being able to go to all three properties depending on what we wanted for the day. Marina El Cid is definitely the property for families and fun. Ventus and Ventus 'Ha are more for relaxing and quiet. Food was good and there was always something for everyone, but not anything to rave about.
The most disappointing part was the $139 USD that had to be paid upon check in - we were told it was tax that we are used to paying (usually around $20-25 per room), but now there is a resort fee that has to be paid as well. Also, you only get 2 wi-fi codes per room and if you need more, it's $60 USD for the week per additional code. This is an additional expense that some families are not prepared for.
