We had a wonderful stay at Marina El Cid in November — very relaxing. The kids had so much fun in the pool and on the beach, and enjoyed spending a bit of time at the kids club, which was well organized (there was a daily schedule, so kids could join for certain activities as they wished, like a treasure hunt or a movie night). The staff were kind and helpful. Alva at the spa gave a wonderful pedicure. The food was very good and we were able to take in four of the on-site restaurants for dinner reservations. Everything that we were hoping for in a relaxing tropical family vacation!

The staff are so friendly. The resort felt so safe for our kids. Shows were great. Pool was amazing.

This resort is the worse, rudest staff ever especially concierge and concierge supervisor. Don't even bother filing a complaint with management as they will brush you off and tell you there is nothing they can do. Cleanliness was another issue...

Excellent resort. We had never stayed at an all-inclusive and El Cid did a great job. Given the remote location, we really appreciated the 'multiple resort' themes at part of the complex. Would definitely return.

Overall a great trip. Food and drinks were good. Only thing I would recommend are softer pillows and update older section of the resort. Other than that I would definitely return again.

Overall is good stay but room has a muggy humid smell and I feel humidity in the room. Good luck trying to dry your clothes inside the room. Food choices are plenty and satisfying. Kids have a fun time there. Also you can see group of fishes at the beach, which is quite important for me.

Had a great time with family and friends. This was our first all inclusive resort trip. Had a wonderful time. Except for limited options for vegetarians, this was a fantastic place. Lots of fun activities to do.
