Overall, very nice property. Rooms and the indoor areas were fine, the outdoors, especially by the pools, were not clean. The dinner reservations were difficult to get (we were only able to eat at two restaurants the entire week we were there) and the staff member was less than helpful and very irritated when we asked questions about the dinning. We were also not told on the first day when trying to make dinner reservations that there was a buffet every evening we could eat at. So, we ended up eating a lot of room service that had a limited menu.
Our room was on the far end of the property, right next to the family/entertainment pool. It was very loud all day long and walking to the other side of the property took 10-15 minutes for me. Not to mention that at this time of year, the pool was so cold we could not even get in it.
There is a man-made reef to break the waves before hitting the shore. This makes the water cloudy and dark. Not the beautiful Caribbean Sea you would expect. My daughter was so disappointed since the pictures of the resort to not represent how the beach really appears.
There is no shuttle provided to or from the airport, which was surprising with the cost of staying there. Watch where you are walking at night because the staff drive all over the property in gas-powered golf carts (I cannot blame them as it is enormous) and the walkways are just big enough for one cart. Not even a person can walk next to one.
