Give me a break - building a cover over your Mercedes when the rooms are in need of updates! Two out of three lights in the washroom are not working, the one that does is over the toilet, faucet is leaking water over the counter, shower door will NOT STAY closed - magnets rusted and NO towel racks left on the wall!

No staff, no dinner, not a preferred choice
Posted 13 Oct 2019 on HotelsResort condition was generally okay. However, there’s no staff around during evening / night time, i.e, from 7pm to 7:30am! Dinner was not available 6 nights out of our 7 nights stay.

Overall stay is good but...
Posted 4 May 2019 on HotelsDolphin Bay Resort is located at Barangay Palangan which is midway between Sabang and Poblacion (central town). The resort has cascading pools and right in front of the beach. This place is secluded so if you want a quiet place to relax and unwind, this is a place to stay. The staff are very friendly and accommodating (Gladys-she is awesome and the male staff in the evening is also awesome).
Pros:
1) You have your own secluded beach. There are some recovering corals at the left side of the property if you want to snorkel. You can also kayak for free. Bring your own lifevest, snorkeling gears.
2) The view of the beach from the pool and from the restaurant is amazing.
3) breakfast is included and they are quite tasty, it includes bottomless coffee (eating Breakfast with the beach view is priceless)
4) they will prepare/cook market bought fish/meat for a small fee (around $5/ per kilo of fish/meat).
5) Rooms are equipped with AC and TV.
Cons:
1) If you have problems climbing up and down the stairs, consider it when staying here. You will be climbing up and down a lot of steps.
2) since it is a secluded place, you will have to ride a tricycle/Jeep to go to Sabang or White beach.
3) They only provide 1 pillow per guess.
4) DO NOT BOOK snorkeling tour/island hopping tour. I had a terrible experience with the private snorkeling tour I booked.
Suggestions to this resort:
1) provide 2 pillows per guest
2) have a grill or fire pit to rent by the beach.

Title for this stay “I WILL NOT RETURN”
Posted 13 Feb 2019 on HotelsIt started with the locals...trying to assault my friend as we were driving motorcycle back to the hotel...2nd there is no Security, there is no WiFi in rooms...WiFi is not good....rooms are old and drab...food and chef were good...a lot of employee turnover...the employees they do have give a valiant effort...if you like walking up about 110 stairs your welcome to...not I.!. . Mosquito haven...no housekeeping ...I could continue but I will not.
