Room had no Wi-Fi, no hot water and a broken hairdryer. Other people in my group had weak Wi-Fi but no other issues. Staff was not helpful

Full of flies
Posted 7 Mar 2024 on HotelsIf you are an entomologist this is the place for you. You can see flies, beetles and roaches and thats just in your room. The room was absolutely disgusting full of flies and ownership didnt want to do anything about it or do anytiing about my bill other then offering me bottle of cheap wine. Find somewhere else

This hotel is severely overpriced. The facilities are low end, the property had an awful smell from the moment we walked in through the front doors. Would not recommend under any circumstances, unless they drop their prices by half, and even so, not the best stay.

Disappointing stay at Deja Vu
Posted 31 Oct 2023 on HotelsWe were disappointed by this hotel. We had a room with no window that open and it was old. The look and feel is oldish and they could make it more appealing. Breakfast was fine. We stayed at the neighboring Casa de Judy which is excellent in comparison. The staff was nice but the overall experience was not great. We will not come back here.

Good location in Santa Cruz. Walkable to restaurants, attractions, waterfront. Clean, friendly. Refreshing pool. Good breakfast.

Very nice smaller hotel (around 20 rooms), super pleasant staff, very good hot served breakfast included, pool, hot showers, south east side of town, easy access to the Darwin Research Station and all the restaurants, shops and bars on the main street, easy walk to the fish market on the waterfront where there are sea lions, sea birds and iguanas. We would stay here again.

Everything was good only little inconvenience was the hot water. You hard to let it run a while for it to get hot but once it was then the shower was great. All the rest was very good!
