Posted 13 Nov 2023 on HotelsI, unfortunately, did not have a good experience with Hotel Star Express Puebla and had to check out fifteen minutes after arriving. The issue was that the room did not have a window, which could have been fine if there was a way to control the temperature, but there was no AC or a fan, which just made the room's air still and insufferable. Second, the most pressing issue was a lingering awful smell of sewage from the bathroom. It was so strong and intense it was making me nauseous. My colleague staying in the same hotel had the same issue with the smell, so it wasn't just my room. With these issues, we opted to leave. Although we were told we would not get a refund, we did not care because it was terrible.

The fee is expensive according to the hotel appearance. Nobody is present to help you with the luggage and there are only stairs.
Bathroom outlet was not working. It was reported to the front desk but they didn't do anything.
Small rooms and nothing is the same as the pictures on the web
Very disappointed that this place is offered through expedia.

Would stay again!
Posted 8 Feb 2019 on HotelsOther than the bedroom being near the kitchen (loud) was great. Very convenient to the bus station, nice and friendly staff. 4-5 minute walk to the bus station, markets, restaurants. Good breakfast and coffee. Would stay again!
