I didn’t check in....had to book another room on my own due to not having bathrooms in rooms I didn’t feel like I was going to have privacy

I did not really appreciate finding someone of the opposite sex in the same room with me, especially when there was sufficient space to place her elsewhere.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, complete amenities, but the location is kind of far from downtown, bus stop avaliable

Hi Yi, thank you for your kind review. We do strive to be a cozy and friendly hostel. And you're right, we're not smack downtown. But a 25 min walk to downtown (or 7 min ride on the bus) aint so bad either. Thank you for taking the time to review us :)

When I checked in , I was Given a Room with a shared bed upstairs, I went out and came back to find out someone payed more for Privacy and i was downgraded to a room with 4 people and in a corner bed with 1 pillow No air conditioning just a fan. That was my experience.

Hi Matt, you booked a 4-person dorm and when you arrived we tried to upgrade you (for free) to a 2 person dorm, but we said we weren't sure just yet if we could do it. It was ultimately not possible because the other person in 2-person dorm wanted (and paid for) a fully private room at arrival. We then gave you what you booked, which was a 4-person dorm. This was NOT a downgrade, but what you originally booked. If you wanted a more private room you were welcome to upgrade (and pay for) a private room. Nonetheless, I hope you enjoyed your stay :)

Location, and price was good for down town access.
