"Probably the best hotel I’ve been to (and I’ve been to quite a few good hotels). This hotel was simply something different. The location - amazing view right above the Douro river. The design - beautiful, just beautiful, the room , the lobby, restaurant, bar, spa - you can see every little detail was considered. "Great spot overall. Banilda at the front desk went above and beyond. A rainstorm leaked through some of the walls and they shifted us to another room that was a definite upgrade. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a great deck. Would love to come back."
