The hotel is very attractively furnished with a delightful garden and a fine beach about 400m walk away. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the small restaurant offers excellent value dinners in the small dining room. A further plus: no piped music anywhere!

The terrace was so lovely and so were the two cats who joined me breakfast and dinner. My room had a sweet private terrace looking into the trees beyond.

Lovely view of Napled
Posted 14 Sep 2019 on HotelsLovely, restful hotel with wonderful helpful staff. I have nearly no Italian and was many english speaking personnel. Had a private terrace which was a treat. Breakfast was good, and all were very pleasant. I will be returning. They arranged taxis, telling us and showing us how to get thete and back. Village was beautiful but because of our age, health conditions we found the up and down roads a bit much. I give the Solocante ax10+!!

Off the beaten path
Posted 24 Jun 2019 on HotelsA nice and calm location a bit off from the busier parts of the islands but easily reachable by local bus C1 and with good access to two beaches. A great view to the sea both from the breakfast/restaurant area and the jacuzzi.

Great place with a beautiful garden and spa.
Be aware that this hotel is slightly apart from the main areas for restaurants etc, so worth giving thought to transport options (taxi/bus/moped/bike etc). Despite being a tiny island, the roads on Procida are not especially pleasant to walk, being narrow and surprisingly heavily trafficked.

2 Star Hotel near a nice beach
Posted 1 May 2017
Pros: Walking distance to the beach.
Cons: Service, clean comforters, beds that are really queen size or properly combined, better towels with towel holders in the bathroom, better shower
Location: This hotel is walking distance to a nice black sand beach. Kind of in the middle of nowhere otherwise
I am sorry to say that we were not really happy with our short stay at this hotel. We left after the first night even though we prepaid for two nights. Instead of a queen sized bed as booked we had a very small room with two twin beds stuck together. Just a sheet held the beds together, no extra padding so that I felt like sleeping on a crack. I was cold as I found the duvet to have stains and didn't want to use it. The bed sloped so that my head was lower than my feet. I was able to get a second pillow which helped. I had allergy symptoms and asked for kleenex. Since the hotel had a spa, you would think they had tissues. I was given napkins from the restaurant. The staff member looked annoyed to be bothered to have to get me napkins.
We were offered a garden view room for day two. We chose to book a four star hotel on the next island. The hotel we booked was a four star for only a few Euros more than this one! We were upgraded (without asking) and had a full one bedroom suite in what we considered a 5 star hotel. We were so happy we moved and enjoyed the end of our holiday in comfort and with amazing customer service!
We would rank Albergo Solcalante with two stars.

Very nice hotel
Posted 25 Apr 2017 on HotelsWe really enjoyed our stay at Albergo Solcalante. Although the hotel is a distance from the Port of arrival we managed to walk there pulling our suitcases. It'll be best to get a taxi but you can walk.
Room was very good and the garden was lovely - overlooking the sea and a great place for an evening beer watching the sun go down.
Breakfast was very good.
I'd recommend Albergo Solcalante.
