I stayed here in lieu of a hotel room in Salisbury for a work trip and it was worth the drive, only about 20 minutes from Salisbury. Heidi is extremely hospitable, her breakfast is excellent, including authentic English tea. It was very quiet, air conditioning worked amazingly well considering this is an old home, c 1800’s. The decor is adorable. The town is quite charming. Heidi made dining recommendations and did her utmost to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. My only regret is I couldn’t stay longer on Sunday am when I departed, to savor and enjoy her wonderful breakfast!

Home Away From Home
I had the pleasure of staying at Heidi’s property for three lovely nights in July. From the moment I stepped into her foyer I felt welcomed, comfortable and safe. I stayed in the Robert Louis Stevenson room- It was absolutely perfect! Breakfasts were amazing and delicious, lots of friendly conversations, books everywhere which was so fun and Heidi offered great tips for the local area.
As a solo traveler, I always appreciate, feeling safe and getting to meet some very enjoyable people when I travel and staying at Book Lovers Club Inn was a wonderful experience - I am looking forward to staying again when I’m in the area!

Heidi is the most attentive host we have ever stayed with. You can tell she runs the Bed and Breakfast with her heart and cares that her guests have the best experience. She is very communicative from the first day we booked through check out. The home is so inviting and honestly like a page out of a book. It was a very relaxing experience staying here and we would love to return next time we visit the area. The English breakfast was a real treat as well. We haven’t experienced anything like it outside of England. After staying here, I can definitely see why this place is so highly rated. Thank you Heidi for a wonderful stay!

What a delightful stay in this charming B&B on the E shore of Maryland. Thank you to a simply perfect host, Heidi. Excellent communication, greeting. The home is a labor of love, with a British feel and many personal touches. Very comfortable king bed, perfect big claw tooth bathtub (appreciated after a 100 mile bike ride) and coffee/tea available, as well as thoughtful snacks. Looking forward to staying next year.

Love the British decor, look and feel of the property. Hostess was great. Outside could use a little TLC but the inside was fantastic.

What a gem! Was coming to the area for a wedding and just needed a place to stay - and ended up having a lovely experience! The owners clearly take pride and care in creating a clean, comfy space, making great recommendations and serving delicious breakfasts! Loved the British flavors and warm hospitality.

If you want a unique, historic, and luxurious stay at a good price, look no further. The Princess Anne Book Lovers Inn has it all. Heidi was so kind and provided everything we needed. The room was gorgeous and very clean. Breakfast was amazing every day, healthy and homemade. You cant get this experience at a hotel. The library was my favorite room and i only wish i could stay longer!
