We didn't realize our room was at the top of a steep flight of stairs which was difficult for accessibility. We only take showers and the shower was very tiny but there is a huge jet tub. Breakfast was included and was good. The servers in the restaurant were excellent - especially since they were understaffed.

The Waring House is in a great location for getting to Picton, Wellington, wineries, restaurants, etc. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed but the patio off our room was unusable - the chairs were filthy, covered in cobwebs, etc. I want to be able to step out and immediately enjoy, not have to spend 10 minutes cleaning. All staff are excellent from reception to the restaurant and housekeeping. Property is well maintained.

We enjoyed our stay at The Waring House! Everyone was so helpful and had a smile!! The open spaces and cleanliness was a plus! I would recommend it anytime!

The Waring House is nice but needs some TLC. It’s kind of tired looking. The rooms are large but the furniture could use an upgrade. The staff is very kind and attentive. We had a good stay and it’s very convenient to get to various little towns on our bikes which was the whole purpose of the trip.
