The property was good, clean and staff reasonably polite. Food was buffet style, tried a decent mix of international dishes.
Location is good, walking distance to the Cote d' Or beach and also close to Anse Lazio by car. Definitely expected a bit more from the common areas for a 4-star hotel.

Excellent hotel in Praslin
Posted 11 Nov 2019 on HotelsWe had a fabulous stay at Le Domaine de la Reserve, the location, staff and room were excellent.
Although, 8 days was probably a bit too long as the food is quite repetitive.
it’s an easy walk to Côte d’Or beach where you can pick up a water taxi and some beer/wine for your room!

Relaxed small resort/hotel in beautiful location, set in it's own private bay with private beach. Brilliant snorkelling from the beach. Light, spacious room with huge shower and separate bath. Attractive villas (4 bedrooms in each) scattered around the grounds. Fabulous huge pool. Staff really nice. The main restaurant/bar is set on a pier jutting out over the sea, so mealtimes were a particular delight, eating great food, looking out at the tropical fishes in the shallow waters below.

Negatives outweigh the positives

Negatives - rude staff on reception, frequent power cuts, poor quality of food at dinner considering the cost (breakfast was better), broken fan in room, no wifi in rooms
Overall the negatives outweighed the positives and i would not stay at this hotel again especially given the cost.

Ennie should get fired, Say no to room 101
Posted 10 Mar 2016 on HotelsWifi works in a tiny area near the pool, rude receptionist (Ennie?), room 101 is terrible, non-private and our bathroom smelt like sewage. Ennie didn't care and lied that the hotel was booked and couldn't move us. We talked with other employees that showed us it wasn't. Pool was very nice, but that's about it.

Pros: Our room was comfortable, spacious, clean and had a fabulous view over the sea. The staff were so lovely and helpful.
Cons: We struggle to think of any improvement that is needed
Location: Beautiful location. We had enjoyable bike ride from hotel to Baie St Anne . Valley de Mai trip was lovely. We hired a car for a day & saw whole island
This was our 1st trip to Seychelles and we could not have picked a better place on Praslin island
