Lovely spacious apartment, very clean. Sea view from balcony and good free wifi. Johnny the manager spoke very good English, and was very helpful in sorting out our lost luggage, booking table reservations and hire car. We were on top floor, (3rd) and there was no lift, it didn't bother us , but might be a problem for some. Our one complaint was the shower was very small. We were told they were all going to be replaced in May. Also could have done with a bit more kitchen equipment....there was only 2 of everything i.e.teaspoons, forks, knives, plates,bowls etc... so had to keep washing up when preparing meals.

My home in Cape Verde!

Pros: Clean, safe, spacious, great wifi, nice kitchen, comfy bed
Cons: I'd love to have CNN on the TV but the wifi is easily fast enough to stream it
Location: The adjacent restaurant (Benfica) is open air and has great food (and sometimeslive music). There's a great coffee shop and mini-market down the road.
I've been to Cape Verde six times as an American business traveler and this is my second time staying at the hotel. It's spacious, spotless, comfortable and safe. The wifi, which was already quite good, was just upgraded by the owner. It's now better than I have at home -- not bad for a developing country! The staff is just terrific and the owner/manager is very on top of things. There are several restaurants within a two-minute walk and a handful of coffee shops. Though not in the downtown, it's in a great and very safe neighborhood and you can easily be in the heart of Praia with a $2-$3 cab ride.
I have at least three more trips to CV planned in the coming year and will definitely stay here again. It has all of comforts of a big hotel but with the friendliness of a small home. Thanks again for (another) great stay!

Pros: The apartment is spacious and has everything I need for cooking.
Cons: The hotel needs to have a small cafeteria or something like that open all the time.
Location: I like the restaurant near by.
This is the second time that I stayed in this hotel. It's quite, clean and the aprtments are spacious. The only problem is that the hotel is a little bit far from the office where I work.

Good stay in a residential area of Praia
Posted 13 Feb 2017 on HotelsThis hotel is located in a nice, safe residential area of Praia. The staff are very kind and informative. Breakfast is generous and a good deal at six euros. Internet is available and good, but rationed. Our internet allotment ran out before the end of our stay. We perhaps could have asked for more bandwidth, but we didn't, so not sure if it was an extra charge or not. The shower space is very tiny but everything is very clean. There is a large kitchen/living room area. We could see the ocean from our room. The neighborhood next to the hotel is very near the beach.
