"The hotel had a great buffet and staff is very friendly"

"Staff great, room nice with welcoming bottle of wine, walk right down to the beach with private access. Parking available but if no room showed us where to park one street over and safe. Clean place. Breakfast area very clean. Best buffet breakfast I have seen since living in the Middle East, everything fresh from fruit, cured meats, yogurt, beautiful local pastries and breads, variety of nuts cooked oatmeal- could not fault this place. Even had a gentleman playing piano during breakfast - not for everyone but we enjoyed it."

"The whole hotel, lobby, halls and room, smells like fresh laundry, the best smell ever! Newly renovated, stylish and chic, think white/silver/grey/glass/high ceilings and mouldings with the most amazing wooden floors . Low season so there wasn't always someone at desk but he was available to me for anything in a flash, absolutely lovely person. Location was 20 second walk to the stairs for the beach. There are two beaches, be sure to find the little cave in rocks that takes you from one to another. Rocha Beach, doesn't really get better than this."

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly. The location and views are great. Breakfast and the occasional buffet was fresh and good. Minor comments being picky would be the heated pool could be warmer and also the hydrotherapy pool was cold. "

"Over all this hotel suited my needs....my mobility is hampered after suffering a stroke...so my room allocation was the 18th floor...be prepared to speak fluent languages but not english....when you check in....then be prepared too get a taxi too another hotel 10 minutes away...why they don't issue the key's at the tarik as they used too is a complete mystery...then there's the 9 digit code you have to tap into your door handle...take some one small with you...it'll help."

"The preservation of the original home and its fine architecture, Brazilian wood, and gorgeous hand painted tiles was meticulous and made for a very special stay. We really enjoyed the incredible presentation of our salt crusted sea bass at dinner. The service and food were top notch. We were also delighted with our gracious room upgrade, bottle of champagne upon arrival. Delightful property!"
