I received the best service from the most friendly staff I have ever encountered in my trips. They offered free transportation to the sights and train station in the city and sandwiches to go when I had to leave before breakfast. They were so attentive and literally bent backward to cater to my needs. Definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Prague. It will start you off on your journey of the beautiful city with a smile on your face.

We have stayed in many hotels over the years, regular and luxury, but Residence Agnes surpasses them all. The charm of this little tucked away gem is the first thing you notice…from cobblestone floors, to stone walls, lovely European winding stairs, (there is an elevator) cove ceiling, and the soaring mid ceiling in the lobby. However, the staff all go way above and beyond to cater to your every need. They all know your first name and talk to you as friends rather than cold employees. We checked in very late and Stefan even made us sandwiches as we hadn’t eaten. Natalie, Denise, Victoria and the other two young men whose names escape me , were so kind, friendly, helpful, and attentive that we were constantly amazed. I could go on and on but I will say the quietness of the hotel is superior and the non-governed air conditioning is sublime…

This is simply one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in. We are extensive travellers and the quality of service at Hotel Residence Agnes surpassess everything else. From the moment we arrived we were greeted like friends. We received a very informative welcome brief along with some refreshments. The hotel is nearly 800 years old but has been beautifully modernised and decorated. It is within easy walking distance of all the major sites in Prague. They provide an extensive breakfast catering to all tastes. It is the servive however that sets this hotel apart. We were always welcomed back from our adventures and we gathered in the open area with other guests happily talking about the day. It was an stmosphere in a hotel that we hadn't experienced before. Our sincere thanks to all the staff ( Victoria, Stephan, Frank, Frank, Samantha, Luka Natalie) for making our trip so memorable. Truly, this is a magnificent hotel in the heart of Prague old town.

We have traveled quite a bit in the last few years and this hotel is the best we have stayed in. Right from the beginning, the staff made us feel at home with complimentary parking and beer. They continued to suggest things to do including the wonderful 5-hour walking tour. The breakfast was incredible with so many choices. The rooms are very clean and modern with very good air conditioning. It is very quiet and located right in the Old Town section. Would give more stars if we could.

The staff and service is what makes Hotel Residence Agnes stand out. Everyone is very friendly and willing to help out in anyway they can. We really appreciated the refreshments after a long day of sightseeing. The hotel is located close to old town square and public transportation options. The team at Hotel Residence Agnes elevates ‘customer service’ to ‘customer care’. Their genuine desire to make your stay perfect is reflected in everything they do. From the reception where, besides a welcome drink, they help you plan your stay and sightseeing, to the little things they do to make your stay enjoyable, this may be my best stay at any hotel ever. The room was perfect, the breakfast was perfect, the air conditioning, the bedding and towels, the bathroom fixtures, the warm water in the shower … perfect perfect perfect. Laundry service was super fast and perfect. They were ever ready to make us tea when we wanted, they were ready with a drink when we returned from sightseeing. We had to leave at 4 am and they not only made sure we had transport, they packed us sandwiches in case the airport restaurants hadn’t opened. We enjoyed our stay so much, we might return to Prague just to meet these guys again!

This place was amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars they would be 10 stars!!! So accommodating! We got in really late ( after 1 am) and they said-“ we’ll tell you everything you need to know tomorrow- we know you’re tired.” In the morning we missed the crazy amazing breakfast ( we know from the next day) and Victoria said, “ oh so sorry you missed breakfast.” We responded - yes we did. She then proceeded to ask if we wanted coffee, warm apple strudel, and many other assorted pastries! My husband said, “if this is missing breakfast, I will miss again tomorrow😂. “ They also went out of their way, getting us rides, arranging dinner reservations, etc. The service was amazing. We are thankful to Frank, Paul, Victoria, and all the staff for the best service! We can’t wait to go back to Prague. We know where we will stay!

When everyone rates as 5 stars, it seems suspicious. They weren’t kidding. The service is outstanding and they make you feel as if they were welcoming a lost family member home. Great rooms, amazing breakfast and incredible service. Very close walking distance to a lot of attractions. I’d come back to Prague just to stay here again.

our first visit to Prague so I can't compare it to other Prague hotels, nevertheless, relative to boutique hotels in other European or American cities the customer service was unparalleled. The owner and his staff were very friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed at the Agnes for four nights in early July, and highly recommend it.
