Kirsebærkroen i Præstø, ikke ok overnatning.

Ikke megen søvn på grund af en røgalarm der blinkede lige over vore ansigter og oplyste rummet med sekunders interval . Ingen svarede på det opgivne telefonnummer - så ingen hjælp eller løsning af problemet - ikke muligt at finde en anden overnatning over midnat. Min mand fik på et tidspunkt alarmen skruet løs og taget ned fra loftet. Så endelig søvn. Den leverede morgenmad indeholdt to blødkogte æg hvor det meste af hviden løb ud af ægget. Varmen var ikke helt tilstrækkelig og kunne ikke reguleres.

Langt bedre end de to stjerner antyder

Jeg havde i forbindelse med arbejde brug for et sted at overnatte i Præstø. Normalt ville jeg vælge steder med to stjerner fra, men mulighederne i området er få, så Kirsebærkroen fik en chance. Det var jo kun for en enkelt nat, tænkte jeg. Min skepsis blev i den grad gjort til skamme! Ved ankomst virkede kroen nærmest forladt, men i krostuen blev jeg mødt af en meget venlig vært, som udleverede nøglen og pegede mig i retning af mit værelse med egen indgang fra en lille have. Værelset var rent, moderne og indbydende møbleret og meget rummeligt. Det havde tilmed sin egen lille terrasse. Sengen var god, og jeg sov som en sten. På grund af et meget begrænset antal gæster var krostuen lukket. I stedet blev morgenmaden serveret på værelset præcis til aftalt tid. Lune boller, ristet rugbrød, ymer, müsli, frisk frugt, blødkogt æg, juice, kaffe og pålæg i god kvalitet. Så lækkert og igen langt over, hvad jeg havde forventet af et to-stjernet overnatningssted. Kirsebærkroen får de varmeste anbefalinger herfra.
