Great staff and loved that it was connected to the hospital. It made visiting our loved one in the hospital very easy.

Our room was an accessible room. While it didn't affect us much, the king bed in the room was quite high off the floor and I cannot imagine someone in a wheelchair being able to get into the bed. The room was on the street side and the traffic noise at night disrupted sleep. The bathroom sink was appropriately mounted to the wall for wheelchair access, but it was so tiny that there was essentially no room for one's toiletries and had no shelf for such. The water pressure was quite poor which meant that a shower took a lot of time. The only clothes rod was low to be able to be reached from a wheelchair, but then any clothes longer than a shirt would drag on the floor. There were only two chairs in the room and neither were comfortable.

I apologize for the inconvenience with the Accessible room the hotel was fully booked and that was all we had. We do hope you come back and stay so we can try our best to make it up to you. As for water pressure I agree and we are working on that.

We had a wonderful experience with the clerk on Saturday morning while checking out. We also were greeted warmly by, I believe the kitchen staff. Our experience with the checkin clerk on Friday afternoon as disappointing. She could have cared less if she helped us.

We stay at Gundersen when visiting our college student as it's a short drive to downtown and college, has walkable areas around it and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. We also enjoy the fountain drink machine that's accessible all times of the day.
