Sandy, the innkeeper, was very helpful in finding near by restaurants for lunch and dinner as well as other local activities. If you like just a place to breath in fresh air and enjoy a peaceful day on the porch, this is a place for you. Hiking or biking, this is a perfect spot to unwind in the evening.
The porch is fabulous! Half open/half screened for breakfast outside, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. Bed, linens, towels are divine! Great restaurant nearby: Monte’s Tap Room and Kitchen

centenary house. 5min walk from the only Amenia decent restaurant.
My daughter and I have a very enjoyable stay here. The setting is so warm and homey. We like the little details and decorations. The hot breakfast that Sarah prepared every morning was unbeatable. I will surely be back!
Excellent interior design and very high quality amenities. Very friendly and accommodating owner, very clean property, delicious food. Pretty much everything you could want in a B&B.
Stayed B&B's and this one is on the top of my must stay here list! Location to Lime Rock close and to the town perfect. When you open the door you feel like you are home. Rooms are spacious, comfy and clean. Sandy is a fabulous host and cook with many of her homemade dishes! If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing atmosphere with the opportunities to meet wonderful repeat guests then this is the place. Thanks Sandy and your family for your warm hospitality!
We were traveling to a wedding way off the beaten track. This was such a wonderful find. The house was beautifully restored, the inn keepers were kind and helpful. The breakfast was yummy, the bed was comfortable and the room was well equipped. No complaints about this lovely place!
What a wonderful experience! A+ for everything. I enjoyed a light supper I brought with me while sitting on a beautiful porch with a glorious breeze on a very hot day. A little after eating a storm rolled in and so did I to the comfort of this extraordinary welcoming home. I opted to retire early as I had driven 350 miles that day. The shower was relaxing and so clean. I sat in my room and read a book then went to bed early. House was very quiet. I awoke to coffee and breakfast of my choosing on a lovely screened in area of the porch. If I have the oportunity I will stay there again. I have also recommended this B and B to my co workers.
The house is very nice inside, the grounds are beautiful. The room was very clean and appealing. The host was extremely nice and engaging. I would highly recommend this B&B to others.
