A lot of stairs, as advertised, but truly a million dollar view.

Fabulous, comfortable, fuss free spot
Posted 17 Jul 2018 on LastminuteA great little abode in a peaceful area to base yourself at to explore Positano. Some lovely restaurants nearby. Angelo is lovely and friendly and it’s an easy bus ride down to the bustle of Positano for day trips to Capri, swimming or lunch at Da Adolfo from the port. Bathroom was huge and room was spacious with stunning views of the water. Highly recommend.

This B&B had a spectacular view over Positano. We stayed in the one bedroom suite with a terrace where we’d have our breakfast. Our host Angelo was just the right amount of attentive. He was there when you needed him and was very accommodating but he didn’t hover. There is a great view from the terrace, the living room and the bedroom. Being there made us feel like locals near other families that lived and worked their properties. You could hear roosters in the morning but the room is sound proof enough where they don’t bother you. The only thing is you have to climb 230 steep steps to get their so we had our work out each time we arrived back to our room and it was worth it. We met other couples who had to climb 400 and 600 steps to get to their B&Bs. I guess that’s what you get when you stay in a cliff side city. The shower is modern capsule like with good water pressure the only thing is that it was a bit snug for my 6’3 bf.
It’s a 20 minute walk to the Path of Gods which is a beautiful scenic trail. You can drive (if you’re ok w driving in very narrow windy streets) or take the bus down to Positano. The bus stop is just below the B&B. We also took a boat ride to Capri for a few hours which is all you need in Capri. We did a day trip to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius which were about an hour away.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

We had the most amazing stay in this B&B. The owners are so friendly and helpful and the view was breathtaking. The fact that it is a bit further from the centre of Positano makes it even more magical!

Perfect view from Montepertuso
Posted 28 Oct 2016 on HotelsThe view is just as good - if not better than in the photo! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and there are two excellent restaurants with spectacular views just a short 3 minute walk from the B&B. There are also another two restaurants that get great reviews just further down the road (though we didn't try those).

The best of the best
Posted 31 Aug 2016I have been lucky enough to stay in a lot of beuatiful places, but this stay was unbeatable because of the family who lives there. Angelo is the best, so kind and helpful. He had cold water waiting for us at the top of the stairs when we arrived. Melania provided warm croissants with chocolate, fresh cappuccinos, juices and fruits and jellies from their garden for breakfast on our terrace the first morning. It was like a dream! Angelo told us about a great beach and some nice restaurants nearby. For our second day, we wanted to leave super early for a hike so I thought we would have to miss out on breakfast but Angelo insisted on bringing it for us at 7 am! When we would come or go we got to see two pups who lived there, it made being away from our pups a little easier. That evening we asked to have dinner in our room and it was so wonderful, bruchetta, homemade cannelloni, chocolate lava cake and organic wine all with our perfect view of the sunset. I got bit by a mosquito while taking pictures on the terrace and Angelo was there two minutes later with bug spray. I was stressed out because I booked our train back to Milan way earlier than any public transportation could get us to Naples. Of course however because of Angelo at 7:30 the next morning we had full bellies and a Mercedes waiting to drive us all the way to Naples to catch our train. Angelo, you and your family are amazing and we won't forget your kindness.
