"Had to take the ferry from Colonia to BA this trip. The savings instead of taking the Fransico almost pays for the night but not really But Colonia is a beautiful little town and well worth visiting. We had just the afternoon there but was a great break for us Hotel is calm with song birds in the trees. Bed was truly excellent. Nice tea set up in the den area and very well situate to walk the old town or to the ferry or bus Terminals. We enjoyed it a lot!"

"Nice hotel, by the beach and with a nice pool. They room was big an airy. Only downside was the bathroom was dated and needed better lighting. When ordering a taxi, be wary as the front desk orders a private car with a surcharge for card payments. "Decoded to come to Colonia for an overnight trip from Buenos Aires and so glad we did!! Quaint hotel that has rooms around a gorgeous central courtyard and efficient use of space. Bathrooms we clean and gorgeously created from a historic building. Rooms were ready early by a few hours. Continental breakfast was good with a second story view of the river. Also guests get a discount at their sister hotel on the river"

"A beautiful place to stay with a nice peaceful feeling. There's a supermarket close by and not a far walk to any other part of town. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. I wish coffee came with the breakfast but you have to pay and we didn't have coins, also there's no pool and on Google it showed there was so maybe there was a mix-up there. Overall, lovely place to stay while in Colonia, thank you!"

"Everything was ok except that outside my room were dogs barking all night long making it impossible to sleep quitely. Then it was was some birds on the roof making noise again. If you got to this hotel, stay away of room 8208. In the morning I went to complain to the reception desk and the didn’t react to my comments. No apologies, nothing. Very disappointed. In an overall, not such a good night of sleep."
