"A disappointing stay at Salina Bay. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. Check in is at 5pm, and there were no available rooms so had to wait an open ended amount of time. We didn’t get in the room until almost 6pm. There were no apologies whatsoever. The apartments are basic and uncomfortable, beds broken and creaking. The grounds are full of signs saying ‘ do not step on the grass’. It is pathetic. You come to this place on holiday to relax and are instead met with ridiculous rules...

"Really lovely stay Had a room over the harbour so saw the Bastille day fireworks from the balcony. Some extra special staff - we travel a lot and they were 110%. Special thank you to Marc especially who went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay.Nothing was too much trouble He also recommended some fabulous places to eat - all excellent value. Anastasia was also extremely helpful and welcoming Lovely exceptional staff - thank you "

"Our first impression of Le Carre Noir was breathtaking. The drive up was dramatic, the view spectacular. The staff were cordial but we were offered no help with our bags and the key card system was down when we arrived.
