Cannot Recommend this HOSTEL
Posted 17 May 2019 on Hotels It’s called HOSTEL Balai not Hotel - BIG difference.
It was closed on arrival (14:00) so no 24hr reception.
The staff left in the early evening so only guests left in the building!
The bar was shut.
The room was small and hostel-like
It is very rundown.
Only stay for a night if you have to.
Lack of staff worrying for women travelling alone.

The check-in is form 15:00 not from 14:00.
There is the man all the night in the hotel.

Clean and bright

Location is at the outer edge of town but only a 20 minute walk from the train station, or from where the ferry shuttle bus drops you off, Beach is just 5 min walk at the back of the hotel. Lovely grounds breakfast could do with a bit of a lift but good none the less

Gebäudesubstanz und Außenanlagen machen den Eindruck dass das Hotel bereits aufgegeben wurde. Kein Restaurant, kein Frühstück. Auf Nachfrage wurde ein Frühstücks-Gutschein ausgehändigt, der in einem Straßencafe eingelöst werden konnte: 1 Kaffee, 1 Saft, 1 Croissant. Zimmer rel. klein.
