Quiet and peaceful in the city! After being in hospital for a few days this was an oasis of calm. Comfortable bed and linen and very clean. My only issue was the flight of stairs from the street entrance to the hotel reception, it was a tough climb with a suitcase.

No refrigerator and old style decoration but my friend with similar room price have much better decoration and have refrigerator.

Excelente opción para hospedarse en el centro y al llegar del aeropuerto e irse en tren. El personal de lo más agradable y atento... si bien se esta construyendo vale totalmente la pena.

The staff were great, welcoming and friendly, and the location was good too - 2 mins from São Bento station as well as nearby other popular locations such as the cathedral, shops and restaurants.
Facilities were very basic and in definite need of modernisation. The shower head was too low for me (I’m only 5’7, so very low) and wasn’t adjustable. Initially I thought the room was very clean so was happy, but later found a hair in the sheets as well as on the bathroom wall, so glad I was only there 1 night. It was quite noisy too, you could hear the pipes from other rooms running the tap/having a shower.
Overall it was an ok stay, but I would have expected more for the price I paid.
