We reported twice that there was blood stains on our sheets, then we noticed bug bites on our arms, face and hand. We told the hotel receptionist that there are bed bugs on the bed we slept onand all she said was I’m so sorry have a nice day.

Dear Anita,Thank you for your comment, even though you didn't have the best experience.The hygiene of all our accommodation is taken seriously and we carry out regular maintenance and cleaning, including disinfecting the mattresses. The sheets on your bed were changed daily and the housekeeping colleague doing the changing checked that the mattress was in good condition with no bugs. The team is trained to detect possible pests and report them immediately. Even when it's just a suspicion, we call in the specialist team and fortunately, it never went beyond that - a suspicion.We can assure you that your bed didn't have bed bugs and the bites on your arm that you showed our colleague weren't caused by bed bugs. Your partner didn't have the same complaints and if it was a case of bed bugs he would have had marks too. The mattresses were close together, so it would have been impossible for there to be no contamination.We're sorry you didn't have the best experience, but every effort was made to satisfy you and provide you with a good stay.Please know that if you return to Porto, you will be welcome in our home where we ensure the comfort and safety of our guests every day.

The receptionist was absolutely lovely, quick messages, and a fantastic guide to help us out sent before we arrived with parking info. Loved the little patio and the welcome beverage. Was close to everything but quiet enough we didn’t hear any big city noise.

I really loved the way they done it. The hotel looks great staff is amazing all of them. Very comfortable clean and the rooms are complete. I will definitely book again when in the city.

Fantastic place for Porto
Posted 11 Jun 2024 on HotelsThis is just like a hotel, couldn't fault it really. The basic rooms are a bit smaller, but it worked fine for us (a young couple). The superior rooms are really nice. Everything is lovely and clean and comfortable, bathrooms are great, aircon works well. The terrace is a real bonus and the customer service and staff at the check-in desk were excellent. It's in a great area with plenty of bar and restaurants around, nice to see a new bit of the city which has a good vibe.
