I stay at the Rhumb Line often(5+/yr) for many years. I know what to expect and don’t ask for much. In the summer, it’s busy. There is an indoor pool and an indoor hot tub and a large outdoor hot tub open year round. There is a large in-ground pool open in the summer. Also in the summer they have outside food and beverage service with lobster bakes, it’s really fun. I just went on a Sunday night in the fall, so there weren’t a lot of guests and it was very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are old, but always clean. Decent size, some with balconies overlooking the back of the property. Basic to-go breakfast included. Offers toast, bagels, yogurt, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, milk, juice. Laid back family resort. A great less expensive option in K-Port.

Person who ran place was a sweet heart but everything in the place is terribly outdated,to far from town and ocean no ammenties or resturante they claim to have ,breakfast is the same every day no variety.Indoor pool was to cold to get in ,mattresses need replaced just very out dated but very nice people

The staff were lovely. We had a late check in (9:45pm) and there was still someone to check us in. The indoor jacuzzi was so nice! The hotel overall was clean but it’s definitely dated, it looks and smells like it never left the 70s/80s. We didn’t have a microwave in our room but we did have then wood covered retro mini fridge. The sheets are clean and very warm. The free breakfast is typical hand held breakfast food (yogurt, bagels, muffins, coffee, juice, cereal, boiled eggs). The area surrounding it was beautiful, lots of beautiful Maine houses to drive past as well as fall scenery

Stay ANYWHERE else! Fridge in room didn't work. Ice machine on our floor didn't work. Bed is awful Smells musty. No elevator...fun dragging suitcases up 4 flights of stairs to floor #3. Handrail on stairs is loose. Lady at front desk was super nice, although when we told her that we'd miss breakfast bc of an early flight, she didn't offer a goody bag for breakfast.

First of all, I like to say that the girls at the front desk were very pleasant and very helpful for making suggestions around the area of places to go, eat and see. That I found very valuable. The property itself, meaning our room smelled a bit like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. Little things like the drapes had holes in them, bathroom was small, and beds did seem to be a bit worn out. I did like the outside in ground pool and outside hot tub which was beautiful. Coffee and breakfast downstairs was average.
