Cool vibes. Great staff. Didn't feel safe in the area with the homeless people however we had no issues.

So I stayed at the Moxy in Portland. I like the Moxy brand as the staff are really cool, friendly and the bed is to die for. DON'T wander the streets at night. Homeless people everywhere and if you go down the wrong street, OMG. Use public transport or your preferred share ride provider. Now to the room, its a very nice layout and the bed is AMAZING. But thats where it ends. Why do you not have a door for the shower? A drafty shower is not comfortable or relaxing. But thats not as bad as what happened in the room next to me last night. The walls are SO thin, I could hear everything, and I mean everything, and there are things that can't be unheard. The person next me arrived close to midnight and they must have been with a group of clowns from the local circus. There was slamming doors for about an hour from people going in an out. Then around midnight, it begins..........the horror. You may say, use the sound button to dampen the neighbour. I did, and all it did was introduce white noise with the noise from next door because I think beds share a common wall. Lucky we didn't have kids with us. The noise stops at 1am and starts again at 4am because the person next to me thinks its a great idea to check their phone with the speaker on full volume. Hey, I dont care what your are viewing on the phone. When did we not care about other people? Moxy, please stagger guests and sort out the noise issues in Portland unless thats part of the Oregan charm.
