The staff was very courteous. Easy/secure parking under the building. Very comfortable beds with an extra pillow top and plenty of pillows. The location is walkable to many cute dining and shopping options and we felt very safe walking around in the evening.

I found amazing restaurants in walking distance and great shopping. I recommend Q restaurant and Dolly Olive. Great outdoor stores, gluten free bakery (Petunias), brew pubs, and bookstores near. I loved my trip.

Mark Spencer is a century old hotel which maintains the highlights of bygone eras in premium condition. The facilities have been upgraded and maintained without loss of style and class. The rooms are large and comfy, with interesting configutations. The marble bathroom harkened back to the 1920s. Bedding and towels were pristinely white and fluffy. Late afternoon wine tasting in the comfortable lounge encouraged happy chatter with other patrons. For an added fee you can securely park your car in the basement parking lot. Lots of restaurants and shopping within a few blocks, and a short walk to museums and concert hall. Trolly runs outside front door.
