Frustrating checking in with untrained staff possibly? Lost reservation, took too long , forgot meal tickets .. very rough start missed the kitchen open Bar/kitchen closes early, one staff member only, over worked Breakfast was incredible , the staff , the coffee and the food all too quality

It was difficult to find the property as there wasn’t any obviously lit signage at eye level. Ended up having to ask the valet to confirm the property. Check in was nice. My room, the sheets had holes in it. The hallways a stale odor. Food was good in the resturant but a tad on the overly salty side for the entree (Mac n cheese). Good drink. Not what I’d expect from a Hyatt (in a bad way). Would not book again based on my expectation of what a Hyatt should be.

My husband and I spent our 1-year wedding anniversary in Portland. It was my 1st time and his 2nd; we were welcomed warmly by the front staff when we arrived. Got to our room with a sweet card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We explored a little bit of the city but ended up at the end of the night spending a lot of time in the hotel bar/restaurant. Annie is incredible, amazing conversations with many patrons. We can't wait to go back and will definitely be staying here again!
