Michelle and Jim were very friendly. Thu and I felt at home, and we really enjoyed the conversation and the breakfasts. Great place to have a romantic vacation.

We don't deserve this review, and it is 100% a misrepresentation. You tried to cancel your reservation less than 24 hours before you were to arrive. You are mad and giving us this review because we have a 72 hour cancellation policy that applies to you, just like everyone else, and you were rightfully charged fees. The policy was there when you made the reservation and in finalizing your reservation, you agreed to it.
Now, you are making up lies that we are not dog friendly and that we were rude to you. We are 100% dog friendly and we were not rude to you. You are not small business friendly. You are rude. You are a liar. You called at 4AM to cancel, when you figured no one would answer. We tried to contact you twice, during business hours, to work out a solution. You mentioned in the voice mail, coming a different weekend when your doggie was better. We tried to contact you to work that out. You finally contacted us back the next day, which was the day of your reservation, just a few hours before check-in, and you hung up on us when we again, tried to work out a solution. So who is really the rude one? That would be you.
We are a very small mom and pop operation, with two part-time employees. The 72 hour cancellation is there because with more than 72 hours notice, we could likely rebook the room you had reserved. It is nearly impossible to rebook a room in less than 4 hours, which is about the amount of time you left us with since you didn't bother to answer your phone or email the day before. So we are supposed to cancel our employee coming to work and lose revenue on the room, so you are not mad at us and give this crappy review? Shame on you. We would think you have a better understanding of why policies are put in place.
Anyone who looks through our other reservations would see all 5 star reviews...and you. That speaks for itself.

First; there’s an adorable old English bulldog by the name of Twinkie. He loves everyone, but does not jump up.
Our room was the “swanky suite”, and very lovely - loads of pillows on a gorgeous wrought iron bed, French windows straight onto the garden, which is fab-u-lous at night, with lamps like fairyland, at the same time extremely private.
The bathroom is small and beautifully formed, I love the backsplash on the vanity.
Breakfast is buffet style continental, although for an extra charge cooked breakfasts are available.
It should be noted that there are no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but the tv is humongous and has Hulu, Netflix and prime.
We enjoyed it so much we tried to book for next month, but the whole place was booked for a birthday. This place is deservedly popular!

Thanks for staying with us, and we're glad you enjoyed your stay. No, there are no coffee/tea machines in the room because we offer catered coffee or tea in-room service, as well as having our continental breakfast offerings or served breakfasts available to be taken or delivered to your room. We believe in great service, and we want the experience to be awesome for all guests!
