Great option to stay at good rates. Quiet when no major sport events are on, and pleasant owners and staff.
No complaints.

My 3rd stay at Retreat Seaside and staff,food and atmosphere continue to make you come back Overlooking the lagoon with a lovely pool the aussie owners Andrew and Dan with their staff are always friendly and onsite to make sure you enjoy your stay They have a number of room options depending on your budget and in my opinion the best pizza’s in Vila The hamburgers and chicken schnitzel are also fresh and mouth watering Happy hour from Tuesday to Sunday 3-6 and it is a sports bar with all the latest sport on 3 screens , darts and axe throwing competitions and a lively fun mixed crowd in most nights Highly recommended

Retreat seaside is a cute place to stay. I stayed for few days. It was awesome. The guy who runs this place his name is Dan, very friendly guy. And the rest of the staff are kind and nice as well.

The breakfast is not well prepared, those bread are wet. Those facilities are broken. Kettle can not be opened. The toaster doesn’t work. The fan in some of the rooms don’t work, etc. The twin room is without window.

Hi my name is Dan and we are very sorry to hear about your experience with us.
Our Breakfast includes local and imported fruit, two selections of cereal, Milk, Tea and Coffee and Fresh House Made Bread (which is kept in the fridge). We are not entirely sure what you mean by WET Bread so we can not comment on this. We place all these items in the shared kitchen as a free self service for guests as we do not open the bar for breakfast.
I have checked the kettle and there is a problem with the locking mechanism of the Kettle and while you are still able to use the kettle, we have replaced it straight away with a spare.
The Toaster was checked and maybe you forgot to press the toasting button as it is perfect working order and we have no idea what you mean by this.
The Twin room is without window but does have glass bricks to increase sound proofing from surroundings while still letting in light during the day. This helps with a quiet sleep. There is a ventilation system in place to make sure there is fresh air in the rooms to combat that lack of window.
From time to time things do break unfortunately living in the tropics does not make this any less true, but when we are alerted to or find a failure, we rectify the situation immediately.
I can imagine you are talking about another guest who when first got to the room the Fan was broken so we placed them into another room. As all the other rooms fan are in perfect working order I am not sure how this affected you?
In future when staying in any establishment I would encourage you to alert a staff member of any issues you may have while you are staying as to give them the chance to fix the issue.
We are unable to fix any issues once you have left the property.
