"Stayed here twice on our trip and everything was great. The pool and garden was lovely and well kept. The location was scenic being on the lagoon and convenient with plenty of buses going just about anywhere 5 minute walk to Au Bon Marche (supermarket) Some reviews complain of cleanliness but we found our bungalow to be quite clean both times. Just keep in mind Vanuatu is not Australia, and from 2 other experiences we found this level of cleanliness is standard at this price point. (Little things really. ie shower had obviously been cleaned but the grout could have done with replacing / a pillow or two was at its end) Each bungalow felt secluded and was very quiet. We couldn’t hear the main road or other guests at all due to the garden. All amenities worked and the fan worked so well we didn’t need the aircon Bed and pillows were comfy. The ladies there did some laundry for us which was so lovely though due to it being off season raining overnight the clothes struggled to dry so it’s probably better to just not The included breakfast was really nice and filling (tropical fruit, mini pancakes, toast, sometimes with eggs, and coffee) The staff were beyond amazing and super accomodating. They were the best part of this place. Couldn’t have asked for more To note: The bus drivers know it as Vila Chaumière (near Korman stadium). We didn’t need it but if you get really stuck Lagoon Gardens themselves offer an option for a transfer"

"Beautiful and idyllic beachfront location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was high quality. Rooms are basic but more than adequate but it gets extremely hot and there is no AC in the room, only a ceiling fan. Wifi is only available in public areas. Overall a fantastic experience "

"The resort is absolutely beautiful with stunning water views on the bay, beautifully maintained tropical gardens, and cute tropical "fare" bungalows. You have the choice of swimming in the pristine sea or in the lovely swimming pool. The staff is so dedicated to helping you have the best stay and the manager is very helpful. We'll come back. "

"They had no idea we had reservations for over 2wks and I confirmed it a week before we showed up. Then I showed the staff our reservations and they put us in the room that we reserved. About 30mins later the same staff that checked us in and showed us to our room shows up with a manager (that’s want she called him) he was telling me, that we did not pay enough for the room we paid for and we were been moved to a smaller room. the Staff tried to explain to him that we were in the right room, and he wanted more money to stay in the room we were in. Then I said I was reaching out to Expedia and he walked away upset. then about 20mins later the same lady that checked us in and came with the Manager, came back to apologies for his behavior and to reassure us we were in the right room. Then the TV had 1 Channel and everything was in a language we had to use our phones to translate. No shower curtains, we paid for a room with A/C and is was on for 16hrs on high and never got below 27 degrees. Nothing is as advertised. "

"Breakfast was fantastic as was the one dinner we had at Cafe Vila. I wish we’d had more dinners there. The pool and resort in general are lovely and very well kept. A few things were broken/needed some TLC in the apartment but it didn’t really affect our stay. I would love to return one day!"

"We were in 309, nicely located close to the watersports area and poolside. The Villa had everything we expected. Only gripe about the villa was the A/C inability to defeat the heat during the day. "

"We loved staying at the Fatumaru Lodge! It is clean; staff is friendly; and location is beautiful. Our flight was delayed to Port Villa and the hotel was understanding/checked us in late. They also helped us schedule transportation to/from the airport. We cannot wait to visit again!"

"Showing its age but is clean and reasonable price staff are all great and friendly. Can kayak on lagoon which is free, but snorkeling andswimming not advised apparently due to pollution in lagoon good pools for the kids."
