The location and building have an interesting history, and it is in a convenient location. I have stayed at Manresa before, but they have not kept up with the maintenance. The room needed repainted, and the beds were lumpy and hard to get comfortable in. The sport lounge was not open at this time and the bartender overcharged me for two drinks, luckily, I caught his mistake and had him reduce the bill.

This property has lots of history and potential! It's beautiful. However, we had a room with no hot water and only one plug in worked, so we couldn't charge our families phones. We didn't complain because we were only there one night and didn't really need to shower (even though I wanted one). I was still happy! However, when we checked out, told the front desk lady about the plug in and cold water, only to be thoughtful for the next guests staying after us. We stayed in room 207. The lady basically told me that it wasn't possible. She asked if I left the hot water running to warm it up. I said "yes" for approx 10-12 mins and it was very cold. She said that was unlikely and not telling the truth. I wasn't lying! I am 52 years old and I know how to get warm water. I wasn't upset that we had cold water but I was unhappy with her response: I didn't need to tell her upon checkout, I was just being thoughtful for future guests. We will not stay there again!

While definitely an older hotel it was very charming and very clean.

Smallish older rooms but a really cool old building. Quiet, warm and a great price. Mini fridge and hair dryer in room was great. Very helpful staff. Lots of stairs but they have an person manner elevator if you need it.

Boring room, not much decor. Uninvitable. No room service. Coffee was never replenished. Not enough cream or sugar packets. Too much scrimping.Light came in through the glass door all night long. There should be a shade.

We are sorry you feel that way. If the restaurant is open, we do have service to bring food to the room. We also have a giant sign at the front desk that says if you need any stay over service or anything replenished, to please ask the front desk and someone can assist you. Since covid, we have decided not to send our staff into guests room unless they have been requested to. We apologize you did not enjoy your time, thank you for staying at Manresa Castle.
