Rooms equipment needs servicing. There were smells in the room. It may be the air conditioner or the sewer. There was noise in the mornings from 6:30 am. The front desk staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Would have liked the breakfast menu to have more local options. Overall stay was not bad.

So even I first got there no one took to my room she just hand me the key & told upstairs the white door there was so many white doors so service was not good & also no mat on the bathroom floor I could have come out the bathroom & slip & fall no microwave in our room the stove is century old they really need a upgrade both my kids & I will have to going downstairs to ask for stuff other that is he pool was great & the breakfast was great the was friendly but overall if wasn’t to bad it just upgrade

I arrived at the property and they were struggling to find my reservation. Then, they told me that I was in the 2nd room. When I walked to the 2nd room, the door was opened and it was clear that someone hadn’t finished cleaning it yet. There was a bag of trash jsut sitting on the couch in there which made me question the cleanliness. Then they told me that they showed me the wrong room and took me upstairs. This room was even worse. As soon as we walked in, there were chunks of ceiling all over the ground and bed! Even the attendant was surprised to see the state of the room they were offering and quickly locked up the room before I got a chance to take pictures. They said they would give me a full refund but it has been 3 days since and so far nothing. Keeping fingers crossed for that. Not sure what is happening with management here but St. Anne’s guest house is a mess at the moment. I would not recommend.

False advertising and I was not given the room that I thought I paid for. Before, I detail the negatives, I must say that the staff member on duty at the time of check in really tried her best to accommodate us and was very pleasant and even apologetic for us not getting what we thought we paid for. The kitchen staff at breakfast were also pleasant and it was good.
On the other hand, this place needs a TOTAL overhaul. Firstly, no one contacted us when the booking was made and we had to call the day before with the receptionist having no record or clue of our reservation. Then the worst was the room pictures online did not align with what is presented as the Classic Studio Suite - which I suspect we did not get even though I specifically selected that room online. However, by the time we checked in it was too late to press for a refund and find somewhere else to stay. So after much back and forth, we just settled for the closest option in terms of rooms which had no kitchenette, cutlery nothing. We had to go back with all the stuff we came with to prepare.
Secondly the place was dirtyyy....leaves in the corridors, old mats in the walkway, cigarette stubs all over, there was an overflowing bin in the area outside of the pool...the list goes on.
Lastly, this just does not seem worth the price being charged. Although it may be cheaper than some nearby places, the standard is disappointing. They need to take some more interest in up keeping this place.

Posted 18 May 2024 on HotelsThe rooms are ugly, the state. The rooms were not cleaned in a week. Too expensive for what it is. The only thing I can say is that the person who works in the kitchen is an excellent person and very good service
