Our tea pot had dirt and mold in it. The shower leaked and caused the bathroom to flood. There was construction in the room directly above us. After coming back from a hot day at the beach and wanting to nap with our 3 kids, jack hammers and sawing caused us to flee our room. The back patio doors are no where close to sound proof and its on a major road, so wake up in the morning and middle of the night to motorcylces or big trucks is common.

The Inn In Town is home away from home. The amenities were beyond amazing. The staff was always there to help with any situation that arises even the guys that work on the overnight. Everyone in the family enjoyed themselves even the kids. I will definitely book again every time I come to Portland.

Relaxing spot
Posted 9 Apr 2024 on HotelsThis turned out to be just right for our Port Antonio visit, since we came from Kingston by bus. Taxis everywhere! We could walk to restaurants, the marina and local beach. Rafting the Rio Grande was a gem. Room es clean and comfortable. Requested 2nd floor, and balcony gave us a spot to watch the water and city life. No official office but staff was available and helpful. Microwave, fridge, coffee and hot water kettle were appreciated. No elevator.

Easy to locate. Located right on the main roadway. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are up to date and clean. The hotel is within a few minutes walk of the town center -- where you could grab a meal, shop or bank. Parking is available on site and is gated off from the street. The hotel is in good physical condition.
