"The rooms are clean and cozy, Out side of the the sliding glass doors I like that they have a small patio with a semi private back yard to each of the lower units. The managers are very nice and accommodating. "

"I stayed at Lake Crescent Lodge, Kalaloch Lodge, and Lake Quinault Lodge inside the Olympic National Park. Among these three, I personally think Lake Crescent Lodge has the best view and surroundings to explore, with the worst quality of room and amenities. So like many people have said, you are basically paying for the view, not the sleep. The room we got is kind of small, the amenities are old, and the beddings are also not very clean. The front door lock had some issue that we had to try multiple times before we could lock it. The wall is paper thin and we could hear all the moves from upstair. Thankfully we visited during the thanksgiving break so not many people were in the building. The main building in which the registration and dinning hall locates is well furnished and has a real fireplace. There is a bar in front of the dinning hall where you can get some drink (or just hot water for free like we did). The food is okayyyyyy but kind of expensive, which is understandable since you don't have much choice inside the park unless you want to drive back and forth from port angeles. Usually I would not recommend such a place for stay, but the lake view, the lake shore trail and nearby rain forest are so nice. If you come in the summer you might also boat or swim inside the lake. So, if you want to spend more time inside the park and the lake, this is a good place. Otherwise, hotels at port angeles could be better choices."

"The Uptown is owned by the same people that own the Quality Inn across the street. When I checked in the desk service offered me a manager's special and upgraded me from the Uptown Inn to the Quality Inn. Much better heater and shower for sure. Also was able to easily sign up for Choice Rewards program before checking out."
