So quiet and peaceful, close to town but far enough out to feel that you're away from it all. It was a great place to disconnect and enjoy all the wonderful nature in the area and explore town.

We loved the fireplace and the views from the balcony. The room was big and conformable. Common are great room was beautiful and stocked with board games to play on a quiet, relaxing evening. The location is not to far from Port Angeles but feels very remote, like you are deep in the woods but without all the people you find at places like Sul Duc or Lake Crescent Lodge, but still very close to both.

The room was nice with a gorgeous view, but as others have said, the walls are paper thin. I could hear a woman yawning in the room next door- not to mention conversation. There is no staff.

Great temperpedic like bed. Only suggestion for improvement - bathroom. 1)No hooks to hang cloths, 2)light over bathroom mirror very inadequate, 3)no bathroom cabinets to set toiletries, 4)shower head very high for short people - would be nice if shower head were on adjustable height rod. Otherwise, nice little gem in the forest. May be difficult to find in the dark.

This property is located in the countryside, the owner recommends using Apple Maps for navigation. Even using our Apple map, the last few turns were hard to find due to limited signage. There is nothing in the property description that states all rooms are on a 2nd floor and require stairs to access the room. We had the Sequoia room, it was nicely decorated. However, absolutely no storage area for clothing, nor storing personal hygiene items in the bathroom. Just a basic sink top and vanity cabinet, small ledge for the window. No dining options near the property, you will need to drive to Port Angles for restaurants. Some type of "sound" device on the nightstand, no information on what it is or is used for. Fireplace controlled by the wall thermostat. Nice balcony for viewing the grounds, saw a deer. As seniors, we would not stay here again due to the stairs, however, it would be a good place for younger guests who enjoy hiking in the area. Owner did respond quickly to my texts as we were driving to the location. We found extra towels and coffee pods in the wardrobe located in the lodge room (per info provided in our room).

Off the beaten path. Good if you wamt quiet relaxation near Olympic National Park. Host provided good directions amd recommendations for food. No food available without a 15 min drive so bring what you may need.
