"This is an old beach hotel, and if you’re expecting more than that, you will be disappointed. The carpets, linens, and decor are all old and worn. It was clean, the heater worked so it was warm, and it’s a half a block from the beach. We weren’t there for the beach, but I would definitely go back and stay there for the beach."

"The owner/checkin person appeared very weary and tired, but he communicated effectively. This is a bare bones operation, but given there are just 2 staff, the property and rooms are well-kept and tidy and well lit--no complaints there. Good spot and convenient to Foxwoods."
