Bad expirience
Posted 4 Jun 2023 on HotelsI booked an apartment at a 4-star hotel on Hotels.com. When we arrived at the location, surprise, the hotel only had 2 stars and the room we were offered was a standard room and by no means the apartment we paid for. The staff was very rude. It was a big spike.

Immediately upon arrival, the situation with the apartment was explained to you and a replacement was immediately provided in the form of a triple room, because there were three of you, the situation would be different if there were four of you and no place to sleep. You have agreed to a spare room! If this were not the case, we would return your money and find another hotel. It should also be mentioned that you got breakfast for free, which we don't do just like that. And the staff was in no way, as you write, "rude"!! Things should be communicated here on the spot and not complained until you leave. And by the way, the designation of the hotel 2* is due to the old legislation. Failed communication with you already upon arrival. Nevertheless, we are happy to accommodate you again at any time.Sincerely

The room was infested, the fridge was moldy

Dear sir,there is no way that our room was, as you write, "infested" and did not have mold in the refrigerator! Immediately after your departure, the room was searched and there were no signs of what you write here. Certainly because the rooms are cleaned daily and kept clean.Best regards, Hotel63

Nice , quiet and economic hotel opposite Ice-hockey stadium and Aqua-park is just 3 min by walk. Room was very clean and staff very friendly. The breakfast was really good. I really enjoyed there.

Positive: rooms are clean, staff is friendly, bathrooms are nice
Negative: this is definitely not 3.5* hotel as listed on Expedia. In fact on the door, it says it's a 2 star hotel. As a 2* hotel it's really nice. But for a 3.5* hotel it's very disappointing: there is no elevator (rooms are on the second and third floor), and carrying suitcases up is no fun. There is no coffee maker or water kettle in the rooms. There is a water kettle at the reception on the first floor, but making a coffee in the morning is a quite an ordeal. And finally, the pictures show rooms better equipped with furniture that the actual state: sofa, coffee table with 2 chairs (on the picture) vs coffee table with 1 armchair (reality).
Conclusion: * rating should be fixed on Expedia. Description of the hotel should warn that there is no elevator.

Dobrý deň, informáciu o výťahu v popise neuvádzame , takže zákazníkov nezavadzame . Označenie 2 ** je koli zastaralej legislatíve . Hotel má len 2 nadzemmé nadpodlažia takže výťah si myslím nie je potrebný . Raňajkové bistro je otvorené od 7 30 hod kde ponúkame okrem raňajkovej kávy aj 3 druhy !!! 100% arabiky , kávu pripravujeme dkonca3 spôsobmi ako exspesso , filter aj french-press ... káve sa ozaj venujeme tak Vaša poznámka o utrpení pri príprave sa mi zdá v celku prehnaná . Mimochodom v popise na izbe máte info že rýchlovarnú kanvicu dostanete na vyžiadanie aj na recepcii na izbu. nedávame ju automaticky , lebo legicky sa snažíme zákazníkov pohostiť v našom Bistre63.

Fantastic and unique hotel.

Comfortable new hotel in Poprad. Walking distance to city centre 5min. Ice hockey arena across the road. Excellent choice for breakfast.
