Old property. Door didn't lock, remote damaged, cords dangling out of the side exit

Our primary concern about this hotel is the state of housekeeping. In that regard, the carpets in the hallways were in need of vacuuming and cleaning and the floor in the room left one's feet unclean. Having said that, the staff in the hotel were very helpful, polite and professional.

We only stayed here because of the hurricane knocked out our power and almost everything was booked, this was the lowest I could find for my liking. I did not want to take a shower. Rust all in the tub, mold and cracks in floor of bathroom. Room smelled like straight bleach, sheets and blankets were damp. Sheets, blanket and pillow cases were stained. Dirty/filthy hallways floors, dogs barking. I was so glad that our power came back on, we said forget the other days we had booked and checked out. We took the loss. I can say the air worked fine. It was very cold. I really got what I paid for but we had no choice at the time or be without power. They are remodeling but they definitely have some work to do. I WOULD NOT BE BACK. Also after checking in, I went back to the front desk letting them know all of the things and that I would not be staying another night and did not want the next two nights due to the filthy room. He kept telling me he has to talk to manager. We checked out the next morning, manager tried to pretend he wasnt the manager. So we just left. HORRIBLE!!!!!
