Spotlessly clean in room and communal areas and breakfast room. Lovley continental breakfast and all staff we camce across were so friendly and helpful. We had a lovley relaxing stay, thankyou.

Wake up at daybreak!......
Posted 14 Jun 2024 on HotelsWe stayed in a deluxe suite for two nights. This is a lovely room with large bathroom although quite a small shower. Bed very comfortable and all is exceptionally clean. The problem we had is that the curtains are very thin and our room has large bay window plus side window so in the summer you get woken up at sunrise around 4:30 am. (Unless you're a good sleeper of course!)
There are few facilities so it is really an expensive bed & breakfast. Very good continental breakfast, which was fine for us, although sign says "no cooked breakfast available."
We asked the owner if any rooms had blackout curtains and he said 'no' as none of his clients wanted this and he's been in the business for 46 years so he knows best! He also said if we want dark curtains we should stay in another hotel!

Thank you for your story about our Hotel , you are the first guest to cover the red on/off light on the TV with blue/tack and put clothes pegs on the curtains , perhaps it would be a solution to your problem , to wear a mask at night ???

One night stay.

The place is lovely with a lot of caracter and old things whch gives you a nice feeling.

Great space for a short break.

A friendly welcome, comfortable room and a good continental breakfast.

Most people do not cover the on/off red light on the TV with Blu-tack and bring washing pegs , to secure the curtains , never had this happen before after being in the business for a very long time ,perhaps you do not stay in Hotels very often ? Regards Chris.
