We arrived late, but early for us with the time zone change. After check in we had a drink at the lively bar, Saturday night and the crowd was fun. We were not able to use all of the hotel amenities offered. Breakfast buffet was substantial, fueling us for our first day on Sao Miguel. We walked to the Pineapple Plantation which is nearby. Would gladly stay again.

Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet had a variety of food to accommodate kids.

The hotel itself is really pretty. Its about a 12-15 minute walk to the popular city centre with all the shops and restaurants. Parking was free and we didn't have any issues finding a spot. The breakfast buffet was really nice and lots of delicious food including local cheeses and Mimosas. Overall a great stay here.

Nice hotel in Ponta Delgada
Posted 22 Aug 2023 on HotelsThe Lince is a very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful in letting us store our luggage since our flight came in early in the morning before 3:00 check-in. We were told we'd be called when our room was ready, but we never were. Ultimately, we came back to the hotel at 2:00 and the room was ready. It would have been nice to have received a call so we could have checked in sooner. Otherwise, the breakfast buffet was nice, the room was clean, the hotel had good amenities for our short {1 night} stay.
