This was an average stay. Bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good. What was puzzling is that the hotel is not full, and we were assigned a room at the end of the hallway, where a power washing project was ongoing all day, which was very noisy.

We stayed at Hotel Vale Do Navio for 7 nights. We enjoyed our stay however there were a few things we wish we had of known before booking. Firstly the location, the hotel is a 20 minute walk to Poços where there are a few dining options however the walk to/from the town isn’t great. There are areas without sidewalks and the quickest route walking on a main road. Secondly, the only option for dining at the hotel for dinner is a buffet. As for the positives, the pool area of the hotel was great! The rooms were older but in good condition and there is lots of parking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location away from downtown, but only 20 minutes drive to the action, shopping and cultural surroundings of ponta Delgada. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful with any questions , beautiful surroundings of the mountains from your room very relaxing views.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It's a great location for exploring the northwest corner of San Miguel (with a car) and is walking distance to the start of a good coastal walk. The breakfasts were great with a good variety of hot and cold food. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable.

The hotel was very beautiful, everything was clean, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Parking was available on site but there were also plenty of parking available right outside the hotel. There were a few bars and restaurants nearby and you could also walk to some cliffs with a beautiful view. Definitely recommend.

The hotel is very beautiful, modern and green.Yet, the best part were the people working there. Especially the receptionist was outstandingly nice and helpful. She really warmed our hearts and made our stay even more enjoyable and amazing! The hotel reacts very uncomplicated to special requests and has an easy-going, relaxed and quiet atmosphere.

Great property very easy to find, very easy to park. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The water pressure is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You get free bottled water daily. Free breakfast is okay, nothing to write home about there but at least it’s free. Overall a very good stay and will be back

La struttura è situata a Capelas, cittadina puccola in posizione centrale dell'isola di São Miguel. A 10 minuti dall'aeroporto in auto. Baricentrica per visitare ogni angolo dell'isola in al massimo 1.30h. Supermercato a prezzi convenienti comodo ma raggiungibile in auto. Pompa di rifornimento 24/7 molto vicina e utile per rifornire l'auto prima drlla consegna al car rental. Colazione buona.

Ottima soluzione (specie se si è automuniti)

Nel complesso un ottimo soggiorno: hotel moderno a Capelas, non lontano da Ponta Delgada, dotato di grande e comodo parcheggio (anche all’esterno della struttura), di piscina coperta riscaldata e spa inclusa nel prezzo della camera. La mia camera era ampia, comoda e pulita, con acqua minerale, tè e caffè rimpiazzati ogni giorno (molti pari stelle non lo fanno). Gentili ed efficienti i ragazzi alla reception. Unici nei il mancato riempimento dei vassoi per la colazione (bastava arrivare dopo le 9 per non trovare più alcune pietanze) e l’odore sgradevole del detergente nelle scale interne, ma sono dettagli.
