Great hotel! Dog friendly, swimming pool lovely staff. Breakfast was good too. Room are clean, tidy and well organised.

Pool and garden setting for an older hotel
Posted 10 Jul 2018 on HotelsWe were on bikes and it was the hottest day of our trip. We were delighted to find the swimming pool which was great. We also desperately needed air conditioning. Sadly, it would turn on and then immediately turn off. We kept playing with it but it never worked. But the time we realized that it was never going to work it was 11 pm and we never requested to change rooms. When we checked out they told us that is what we should have done but I can't believe that they didn't know the air was not working in that room. To make it worse, mosquitos were everywhere so we had to keep the window closed. And worse is that the mattresses were covered in plastic. We woke at 4 am soaked in sweat from the closed window and mattress. We HAD to open the window and yes, then got lots of bites. Make sure it works before you sleep. The restaurant in the garden setting was excellent - way better than the quality of the hotel. Service was amazing. If I were to stay there again I would verify that the air conditioning was functioning as it is necessary.

Hi Michele,
Indeed, the morning of your departure, you explained that you had difficulties in operating the air conditioning and we told you that it was a pity not to have informed us earlier because we could have intervened. Upon your departure, we went to see the air conditioning in question and the latter worked but you had to turn the knob on the other side ... Regarding the plastic mattress, I promise you that we will change quickly. In our defense, we took over the hotel a month and a half ago and we have already made a lot of changes but obviously we did not do everything. I look forward to welcoming you once again, hoping to satisfy you even better. I wish you a wonderful evening.

Posted 29 Jul 2017 on HotelsFood great, service really friendly and welcoming. Pool very welcome after long hot drive. Surrounding area not the prettiest but the grounds of hotel nice and unless you walked around the immediate area it doesn't impact on stay.

Rooms were basic & a little out of town centre. Staff very friendly and a beautiful swimming pool with outdoor eating area.

Nice environment except smoking
Posted 17 Nov 2014 on HotelsGreat place. Good environment. Real olive trees. All good except one thing: the room held a strong cigarette smoke smell the entire time, even after I tried to air it out. I felt like I was sleeping in a bar. Last room on the hall; I felt like it was the reserved smoking room, since that's against the law now. Others didn't have the problem.
